Now, when you boost your health and fitness, it comes the time to test your skill. Karate competition will help you to judge your agility, skill, timing, balance and spirit. By getting into competition (Shiai), you will learn the value of winning and losing.

The development of your inner being entirely depends on the way of practice karatedo and the type of dojo you pick to learn karate. A good karate sensei will teach you all the basic, intermediate and advance level of martial arts; hence, find a school that focuses on kihon, kumite and kata training.

Remember, karate starts with ‘Osu’ and it ends with 'Ikken Hisatsu' (finishing with one blow). Hence, practice properly so that you won’t lose in any battle. Get ready to find a good karate dojo in your area that has the best instructors.
